St Philip and St James

St Philip and St James, Leckhampton- affectionately known as ‘Pip and Jims’- can be found on Grafton Road, in between the Bath Road and the University Park Campus.

Pip and Jims aims to be an inclusive, family-friendly church celebrating the best of the old and the best of the new. Our main Sunday service is Holy Communion with children’s groups at 10am. On the first Sunday of the month this is an all age service with our music group and, on other Sundays, music is led by our choir.  On Sunday afternoons and evenings we also have Choral Evensong twice a month, our toddler friendly teatime Church with party tea once a month, labyrinth walking and a termly multi-sensory service called Immerse.  The best way to find out what is going on this month and to stay in touch is to contact Robyn, our administrator, at info@pipandjims.org.uk.

We aim ‘to be Christ in the world and to see Christ in the world’. We are a member of Inclusive Church, working towards our next eco-church award and have an active link with our partner Church in St Andrews’s Ramallah.  We recently redesigning our Church space to create an open, flexible space to be used seven days a week and really value our links with the local community and the many groups, choirs and events which it is our privilege to host each month.  If you are looking for more details of the community activities we host or to find a new venue for your group do get in touch with Stu at bookings@pipandjims.org.uk.
