We know that coming to church with youngsters can be stressful and that long services are not family friendly. Across the team, however, we have a range of family friendly services taking place each month. We also have dedicated children spaces within our churches where you and your family can make yourselves at home and toilets with changing facilities.
Please also see our Youth page for information about activities for youngsters year five and upwards.
Some of a regular family friendly services include…
10am all age communion services on the first Sunday of the month at St Philip and St James and at St Peters.
4pm Short, informal and interactive family services aimed at toddlers and key stage one at Pip and Jim’s (third Sunday of the month).
4pm Short, informal and interactive family services aimed at key stage 2 at Emmanuel (second Sunday of the month).
We also have toddler groups running throughout the week with toys, activities, snacks for the children and coffee and cake for parents and carers. Our groups take place at the following times:
St Philip and St James, 9.30-11.30 on Fridays in termtime. More details here: https://www.facebook.com/LittlePipsToddlers
